Cold Start problems need help

Ok, I have changed the plugs (Bosch Platinum), New Distributor and Rotor, had the Fuel injectors checked (no problems), and new o-rings for fuel inj. I have checked and have spark and fuel however, the car will not start cold. The car did sit with 3/4 tank of gas for atleast 5 months. Could it be the gas? However, I have had to use starter fluid to get it started, but when it is running, it runs fine.

Please help. 1985 911

Thanks

Search for (csv) cold start valve checks , and make sure frel pump/check valve are good. fact that st fluid gets you going says that fuel delivery is an issue . Bentleys manual gets you through all of it.
