You could actually fix it with less than $10.
1 Small Gasoline Can. 1 Gallon of Gasoline. 1 Match. |

I don't know if there's 20K there (which the seller "claims" to have spent) but it's a nice set of parts for a kit car. 20K will buy you all kinds of good, running Boxsters. Trashed ones are going for less than 10K wholesale. Wayne paid 8K for a nice 3.2 Boxster S with a seized motor almost 2 years ago. I suspect he could have gotten it for 6 these days. It's worth that in parts easily w/o breaking a sweat.

Seller's wanting $12,000.00 which could be a real deal for someone who doesn't mind taking it apart and parting it. Assuming no significant damage the easy stuff gets you more than even. Off the top of my head:
Engine: $5,000.00 - $7,000.00 Transmission: $1,500.00 - $2,000.00 Calipers and rotors (4): $1,000.00 Rims (maybe tires): $2,000.00 - $3,000.00 Seat(s): $1,000.00 - $2,000.00 That leaves interior bits (carpeting, interior panels etc), instruments, suspension & steering components, electrical components (radio/speakers, navigation (maybe), lights, turn signals, assemblies, switches etc), whatever good body panels and glass there is and whatever the scrap metal man will give you for the remaining steel as potential "profit." Probably too much work but in this economy it might be worth a look.

Perfect for the 3.4 transplant into your "other" Porsche, with parts to spare.
