It is the 930 caliper or just look alike?

Hi,
I know this was posted before but it's still not clear to me what these calipers are.
The part# 830 352 541 1R and 830 352 542 1R
Another thing, what ever these caliper are, looks like I have both of them the same side???
Thank you
Burint

The black ones in the top picture are '80-on 930 calipers and they can be re-assembled to be make a left & right rear pair.

The silver one on the right looks like the long-fin '78-'79 930 caliper.

The silver ones on the left look like RSR/934 calipers.

Correction to above posts:
Steve is correct in that the black calipers are REAR 930 and 1988 is most likely correct as well. BUT those are both LEFT rear calipers and the back sides CANNOT be swapped around to make a left and right !
BUT you can modify the "What is that?" areas to the earlier version .. We have the later "posts" machined off, and backdate the fittings so a) they can be used left/right and b) can be installed on aluminum or steel NON 930 arms
The mounting pads also need to be machined so they fit the early non turbo arms and clear

Hi Dave,
Thank you for reply and may I switching to another topic while you're here?
You can see from the first post, the silver one at the right conner, they will be installed in Longlom's RSR. The mounting of this one is 3.5" and we are wondering how we can machine the 3" mounting. If you look at the new picture here, there's not much space for 3" bracket anymore.
Can we use the SC trailing arm? (but I understand SC have 3" mounting)
So, What kind of the trailing arm Longlom would need on his RSR?
I found on the web, the picture of the white RSR, What kind of trailing arm are they using?
Thanks
Burint

??

I agree the silver ones are RSR or 934 but that wasn't the Question.

RSR used the short 930 trailing arms w/ 3.5" trailing mounts, which need new pivots welded in for use on an SC/Carrera

Burint
is the white car pictured (no drivetrain) Longlom's?
It appears to me that the car has SC/ Carrera rear arms with a welded mount that has been added to the back of each arm for the RSR caliper install. That is not a normal looking mount as the 930 used. You will just have to do a test fit of all the parts to see if it all lines up

Dave,
The white car isn't Longlom's. here's the link
http://www.pbase.com/slidevalve911rsr/911rsr_factory_1973_rsr_sn9113600871
We' re planning to do the same, to fabricate the new 3 " mount bracket on to the SC trailing arm.
Can you help find us a pair of the same period front calipers?

They look 930's, even the part # matches, but I have a problem with "Brembo" stamped on it.

Brembo started manufacturing the turbo calipers (as well as most of the rest of the new monoblock calipers) for Porsche.
So you will see the brembo name on most of them after the early 80's
