Colorado Porsche Rally - April 14th

Could someone please pin this? Thank You

Registration is now open for the RMR Spring Rally on Saturday, April 14.

Pre-registration is highly encouraged so we can get an accurate headcount for lunch reservations.
Register via our website at www.rmrporscheclub.com - click on Online Registration.
The entry fee is $40 per vehicle. Participants will pay for their own lunch at the end of the rally.
Walkin registrations will be accepted the day of the event, but only cash or checks will be accepted.

Driving a Porsche is so much more fun than shoveling snow and we're all glad to see the white stuff melt away. We encourage everyone to dig out their flip flops and favorite Tommy Bahama or Don Ho vintage shirt and have fun navigating through some of the best driving roads within earshot of Denver.

The Tour and Rally will begin in the parking lot of Lakewood United Methodist Church, 1390 Brentwood, Lakewood.
Registration will open at 8:30 am, and there will be complimentary coffee and pastries available.
MANDATORY drivers meeting at 9:30 a.m. Late lunch in/around Golden.

Not all of us are postal workers, but neither rain, nor sleet, nor snow will prevent this event from happening.

This will be a true Time/Speed/Distance event with old and new friends coming along for the ride. While Porsches are
encouraged, they are not required to participate in this rite of Spring event. All you need to do is find a navigator, pick a car, and join us.

The basic RMR General Rally Rules are available on the RMR website, or in the Event Rules Handbook. It is e ncouraged that you please read the rules PRIOR to the day of the event.

Questions? contact:
Bill Weiskopf, 303-475-7139,

See you there.....

Does someone need a navigator? I’m willing and even trophied in Parade rallies (MANY years ago).

This is a busy weekend.

There is a SCCA Double National at Pueblo. There will be a bunch of Porsches.

There is a NASA event at La Junta. Many Porsches also.

And more, weather permitting.

Best,
Grady

I missed a checkpoint entirely last year, but it was a blast! Too bad my engine is still being assembled, unless my wrench can somehow finish my engine and my tranny by they I may have to run it in the A4.

Sounds like a great motivating factor, but please don't feel like you need to bring the Porsche

If you would like to participate in this event, but do not have a partner or a running car, please call me. We currently have drivers signed up that may need navigators. thank you

i might just plan on showing up. If you can't catch a ride, we could always use another station worker

The last weather report i caught said 58 on Saturday. This storm is going to blow right through

Did you guys end up north, near Fort Collins? I must have counted 10 911's heading south on I25 on Sunday around 530 pm while driving back from the airport.

I'm still pissed I was out of town for this....

No, we were mostly around Golden, and it was Saturday. Maybe those folks were coming back from the club race?

Yes, why? Wouldn't they still need to come up on I-25 if they were coming back from Pueblo to Ft. Collins?

True, but they were all headed south from Fort Collins on 25. There were some long hoods as well....specifically a viper green that looked sweet...

I don't think there was a longhood in the bunch as far as the rally went. Too bad, too...

Hmm, I remember one of the cars I saw as a pewter colored one that looked like it had 17 inch Lindseys on it also...
