Jump the shark refers to something that has passed it's peak.

it's easier for people to buy a motor from a late model 911 then it is to build there existing motor. That is why you see so many of these swaps.

Unless you are dumb enough to build on a _newer_ transplant, thus getting the joy from both ends :)
