Porsche Crest Carroll Smith books

I picked up a few of Carroll's books at a PCA white elephant auction last weekend. Engineer to Win, Tune to Win, and Prepare to Win are the titles.

These are fantastic books. I really like that he wrote it in every day language. While some of it is over my head and will require re-reading, I found tons of useful info.

These were written ,I think, in the 80's but physics hasn't changed since then.
If you get a chance to check them out, do!

I have them all also. Everyone should read them! They provide great info on sound automotive design/fabrication.

My 6-year-old nephew has "Tune to Win" on his Kindergarden reading list. He reads it with his Dad (long time SCCA racer/sports car guy), and last weekend he was explaining to me that toe-in provides more stability than toe-out. We may have a future F1 engineer on our hands.

Don't forget the other two Drive to Win and the working title of Screw to Win (Nuts, Bolts, Fasteners and Plumbing Handbook)
