M&K Muffler w/ Cat Bypass Sound Clip
Installed the M&K a few weeks ago and loved the sound. In fact, I thought I was done. But after hearing some sound clips with the the cat bypass installed, I had to do the same. Hearing other people's clips helped me decide. So I thought I would post mine to help those on the fence about making the change (also, just because I love the sound and couldn't resist posting).

I like the flip-flops, did they come as an accessory with the M&K?

Yes they did. Didn't you get yours... Very comfy! I did not have much time and the engine was cold. I will post some high-revs soon. After ordering twice from Fabspeed only to find that both times they were on backorder for 2-3 weeks. I foud one on ebay and figured I would give it a try. It looked to be the same as the Fabspeed's but the interior part of the resonator is not perforated like the Fabspeed. I am not sure how it dampens the sound, but it does seem to be a little mellower than a straight "test" pipe.

hmmm. mine sounds a little more "glug-gluggy", which I think is an OEM term. Of course, maybe it's my rich CIS--get lots of pops, too. If you've just installed it, the sound does mellow a bit with time. And you'll find yourself going under overpasses back and forth to hear the echo

Nice tease. We really need to hear it warmed-up, out of the garage, and banging-off the rev-limiter.
It might be the recording, but it sounds a little brappy? A little VW-ish? Probably just the garage echo- so let's hear it outside! |

the premufflers/and cat bypasses have more to do with the sound then anything.. with different combos you get way different extremes. it is so much in person sound once you here it that says it all you need sound clips don't do it justice. and yes what size flip flops does everyone need??????
