Question Price Check - Auxiliary Air Regulator

Does anybody know if one can find these as "rebuilt" units or something like that? Our host has competitive pricing for a new one, but I'd like to save a little (more) money if possible.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks

I got a rebuilt one from Parts Heaven. About $100 if I recall correctly.

They are very easy to repair.

Mysterytrains link shows how to correct the impedence for the coil if it's off.

Mine had a different problem. The bi-metal strip had gotten a little warped from the years of spring pressure on on it.

I opened it up and bent the bi-metal strip a little. Then closed it up.

Checked it by putting it in the freezer to see it open up and then applying 12v to watch it close in the specified time.
