Wiper Ghost

Just started this spring.

Hit bump and the wipers sweep once.

Now I start the car and it's like the are intermittent, sort of.

Where do I start?

There is a poor contact in your wiper stalk switch. If you press the switch gently away from you the wipers should work and park properly.
The reason for the single wipe over bumps is because you have the small rotary timer switch by the clocks in the 'on' position. The time for the intermittant wipe has passed and the sweep will occur once that contact in the switch has been made. I.E when you push it away from you or when you go over a bump.
