C-2 suspension parts on earlier car possible?
Hi folks, I just found this site and shopping for some free advice. Im curious to see if any of the parts on the whole C-2 suspension from a 1991 911 would be considered an upgrade on an earlier 911, say 73 to 83 model??
Can the struts be used whole with the hubs, rotors, calipers? (or would I even 'want' to use them???) Are the struts useable on an older car? Is there any value to the rest of the C-2 suspension parts here? I can pick it up for close to nothing but it would be for a future purchase, when I can afford a project...lol

An aftermarket coilover system will give you less headaches. The 964 parts were designed for.... well, a 964.

Anyone else have an opinion as to whether I could use any of this stuff in any combination to upgrade an earlier 911?? Also, If I use the calipers, can I use the rest of the brake rotors, hubs, or just the calipers and then buy other stuff to make them work? I feel like this could be a deal to 'not' pass up but I have to give the seller an answer on Friday. Whole set up is VERY cheap...

W/ the exception of the brake calipers, it is not useable on an earlier car.
It is not very straightforward to correctly use the calipers either
