Speedo question
Hi..after failing at trying to replace the odometer gear in my 83, VDO speedo...i drove it today and learned that the needle shows approx 18 MPH slow....and when I come to a stop, the needle stops at what appears to be way too low...below where I would guess Zero is. photo below...
question...did I permanently damage the needle, or is there a way i can adjust the needle....or should I just have a pro fix this when I send it in for the odometer fix? note* when i attempted to fix the odometer, the needle got pressed up against the face tightly for a few minutes. does your needle stop where mine stops when your not moving? Thanks. ![]()

seems like your needle has moved on its shaft. I would have a professional deal with this. North Hollywood Speedometer seems to be doing good work..... Good luck
