Install of PC680MJ

I purchased the battery and I am looking for a solution to either mount it in the battery box (preferrable) or to the right of the GAs tank. I own a RS look 1973T.

Thanks a lot,
Dan

Thanks Dave!

So I can safely drill though the bottom to attach the bottom plate? It looks like the hold down is riveted? How do you remove the battery?

Thanks again,
Dan

Dan,
I machined a .25" thick aluminum plate with a recess for the battery. The strap is held with screws and I used 1 bolt to the factory threaded hole. I am really happy with this battery. I do disconnect it when I'm not driving it for a few days so the clock will not drain it. Mabe I should get rid of the clock.

Dan,

Rennline carries a kit for these batteries in case you're interested. Here is how I installed mine.

Thanks Fernando, although thats a nice mount I didn't want to spend way more on a mount than the battery itself.. ;)

Thanks to all for your help!

Dan
