I dont' think it would but you'd want to ask this question on the rennlist 964 forum as well as search past threads here.

Some of the 993 LSDs don't have the three holes for the 5-speed speedo sensor ring.

Based upon the parts diagrams the 964 C4 LSD looks to be substantially different internally than the 964 C2 LSD. So you'd want to possibly avoid those.

993 LSD friction discs are known to wear out pretty quickly so you'll want to ensure it's in good or rebuilt condition before purchasing. Watch out on pricing too. Some people seem to think these diffs worth top dollar used. For a little more than the $ some people ask, you could get a better rebuilt Porsche Motorsports diff from Geary.

The 993 LSDs do indeed have the "carbon" friction discs that wear out within 5,000 miles, or a single race weekend. But proper plasma-sprayed discs can be installed that will last about 10X as long.

so the 993 and the c2 lsd will work..what if the 993 lsd doesn't have the holes for the 5-speed speedo sensor ring? is it still worth getting it and and trying to make it work if possible? thanks for the help
