19mm ATE master cylinder disassembly and inspection

I would like to disassemble and clean my MC. I have removed the spring clip on the pedal end and washer. I removed the 8mm side bolt/pin, but I cannot get the piston plunger assembly out of the MC. I have done this before but don't remember how to get the plunger out of the bore, and there is nothing on the end to grab and pull. What am I missing?

Air pressure via one of the filler ports? Like brakes?

Be very careful with air pressure. It can shoot the piston across the garage. Painfully.

Speedo knows all about that kind of thing.

I had one apart once, and can't recall just what I did while installing a rebuild kit. What I recall mainly is the system using two sensors for that model to detect pressure failure, but I don't think those also served as stops like the one small bolt does.

dis-assembly

I got the plungers out. Air didn't work...too many orifices. Heat and vibration...didn't try.
Gravity was unsuccessful. Voodoo worked. Should've tried that at the beginning. Nothing looked worn or needing replacement. Clean, paint and re-assemble. Thanks for the help guys!

@speedo ---

Curious, about your "Voodoo" method of removing the innards of your master cylinder.
What was the procedure you used/followed?

I have MC and BB (83 SC) on work bench. I removed the circlip from MC and the first rubber seal. Now see the white plastic/nylon piece in the bore, but cannot get it out.

See my post, foto #4: https://forums.pelicanparts.com/12282712-post20.html

Thanks!
