factory short shift hitting reverse from 5th

I just had a factory short shift kit installed and although I love the short throughs (as does my wife's knees), it not has a real tendency to naturally want to go into reverse when down shifting from th to 4th.

Has anyone else experienced this or do I need to bring it in for an adjustment?

It may just be an adjustment. I have found that the factory short shift kits like to be adjusted dead straight up and down on the fore-aft axis. Any adjustment too far forward or backwards will give you trouble.

it just needs adjustment, but if the adjustment won't hold then you need a new clamp
Wevo has just the item

Thanks Bill.

Farnbacher is picking teh car up tomorrow morning, making the adjustments and bringing it back later the same day. You really can't beat that service.

Let's hope the adjustments hold.
