550 911s +/-

Just curious about eBay. I've been watching 911 listings for a while and it seems like there is always in the neighborhood of 550 listings. Is this a function of the number of vehicles produced? The health of the market/economy? Demand? Has this number increased/declined from past years?

LOL, i thought it was going to be a thread where someone used the 911 mechanicals in a 550 replica. That would be cool. A friend used a 911 turbo motor in a newer Boxter. That was fast...

I've heard rumors that the new IM and Beck 356 Speedster models come ready to accept a complete SC or Carrera drive trian......
