CR is 9.8 : 1 on this SS 3.2 with 964 cams and CIS.
Engine runs well with the W5DC but I am wondering if other plugs might be recommended. After about 2000 miles, the plugs look good but slightly dark-soothy indicating rich mixture? What about a W7DC? Why are W5DC recommended for 1980 SC's but after that Porsche called for W7DC? Hotter or colder plug? CR was the same after 1980: 9.3 : 1. So. why different plugs?

FWIW I use the 7s on my ls 3.2. 10:1 CR.
