Getting in Over My Head

AND I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!

The Supercharger and Intercooler wont see my engine bay anytime soon, atleast a few months, but now that I've bought them I'm committed to the project. Ultimate goal to have about 400-425hp at the crank

It's an Eaton M90 Supercharger and I'm not sure of the make of the Intercooler, I'll have to do some sleuthing to find that out. But I pulled them both out of a Thunderbird Super Coupe that was in a salvage yard. The car had 159,000 miles on it, but the SC and Intercooler seemed to have been replaced at some point. They are extremely clean and have signs of VERY little wear. One source of problems on these superchargers are the bearings and this one is as tight as can be and roll freely yet without any play whatsoever. The intercooler doesn't have any bent vains and was clean enough to eat off of. BTW, the Eaton M90 is the same SC that TPC Racing uses for their kit
www.TPCRacing.us
These are some of the parts in the kit direct from the TPC website, the reason my supercharger is a little different looking is because it's upside down in the pic I took, so you can't see where the plate that goes ontop of the SC in my pic, but it's the EXACT same one.

and here's mine again, this time with right side up.

I want to do this so bad on my 86. You'll find alot of M90's on ebay too... cheap. The M90 is very easy to get your hands on and it is a tried and true unit. Can't wait to see how this goes. KEEP us posted.

Thanks guys, I'm really excited about this project too! Yeah, if anyone has any experience with this type of project, please feel free to post your experiences and help me avoid mistakes, that would be much appreciated. I'll defintely keep everyone up to date on this, it'll be moving slowly, but it will get done. Thanks for the moral support guys, I debated long and hard about doing this but at the thought of an extra 100-140 ponies, how could I say no.
