				G-model sport seat width?

I have 1980's-era sport seats in my SC. I think they were recovered at some point and whoever did the work put too much stuffing in the bolsters. Not only are they bloated, but they are also much harder than original sport seats I've sat in. Consequently, they are not very comfortable and push on my kidneys. I'm sending my seats off to get corrected soon, and want to arm my upholsterer with the correct information. I've always thought the earlier G-model sport seats (late 70's) looked much more accommodating than mine. Pictured below is my seat on the left, and an early seat on the right. Take a look at my left bolster. Look over stuffed? Also compare the width of the back pad where the yellow line is. Earlier seat looks wider. Anyone out there with an original early seat that could take a measurement of your bolster thickness, and the distance at the yellow line? | ||

Mine ('81-84 style) measure 28cm at that spot. Mine were rebuilt by Tony Garcia (Autobahn Interiors).

Thanks Bill. That's what mine measure too. I guess the bolsters must be narrower on the outside.
