Stebro Exhaust
Does anyone have any experience with the Stebro Muffler on early cars? They claim an increase in both HP and Torque? How do these compare in price vs. performance to other high quality replacement mufflers? The Stebro is quite expensive at $1,350.00.

Waste of money IMHO. Not going to be that big of gain or any for 1300 bucks

Can't understand why someone would pay that kind of money for HP that is most likely not there.
Never seen any comments here on Stebro exhaust, perhaps there is a message in that fact but your question is certainly a valid one and answers should be interesting. |

Stebro is actually local in town here and from speaking with Dan I understand that they want to get into the P-car business. Their focus, from what I understand, was Ferrari, Alfa, etc. before.
I haven't seen / heard of any reports yet, but they are into custom stuff a lot.

Had one on an old Audi. Great quality, fantastic exhaust note. They perfectly nailed the balance between aggressive and civilised with no resonance. Not easy to do.
No clue about their 911 muffler, though. ![]() |
