Flywheel Warped?

Last year I had my flywheel resurfaced.

I just hooked up my dial indicator to the flywheel - the flywheel is attached to the crank and I find that there is about .06mm variance throughout one revolution.

Would this be considered warped?

That is 0.002", so I would say it is fine.

When to resurface a flywheel??

Enjoy,

Michael

PS there is a runout spec. My 82,83 spec book lists .1mm. This assumes your crank is also spinning straight. Probably not a bad assumption.
