Carpet layout for a 911sc

Hi all,

I bought a carpet set from appbiz on ebay and though I am happy with the quality, there are several pieces that don't seem to match the factory stuff...does anyone have a layout of 911sc carpet...how it should go in etc. Any experiences with the appbiz stuff?

Did you remove carpet from your car?

I did the appbiz kit a couple years ago and my method was to label each piece as I removed it. Then match up the new pieces with the old. Some of the pieces need to be cut and fit such as the kick panels over the fans in the front foot wells and the panels under the rear windows.

Carpet

Guys,

Unfortunately, I did keep many many of the pieces and drew a diagram but some of the pieces tore as they were water damaged and essentially rotted.

I am assuming some of the appbiz pieces need cutting on, such as the gear shift/heater handle pieces...the stuff doesn't seem like a perfect fit in all honesty...the pockets for the kick wall by the pedals seem impossible

Heres a thread that might help you out

Carpet install

Also - Google for 'classiccarcarpets'. As one of the top results you'll find a pdf-file withe the installation-procedure for your carpet.
