Can anyone tell me if the rear seats from a '77 will work in an '85?

They may have to be coupe to coupe or targa to targa but they will interchange.

yes they will fit. put seats out of a 76 into an 86, worked fine.

Sorry to resurrect this old thread, but I have a related question: will rear seats from a Carrera work on an SC? Are the hinges that hold up the seat backs different?

Bumping this. The mounting points look the same or very similar but the Carrera seats have the red pin that I assume locks them in the up position?

Anyone know if Carrera rear seats will work in an SC?

They will work, but the red locks have nothing to lock into. I am sure you could fabricate something quite easily though, or just affix straps like on the SC back
