My fasten seat belt light blinks along with my signal lights when I have my signal lights on. I'm certain that the seat belt connection is un-hooked, because for my year, the car wasn't supposed to start without being buckled up as a safety precaution. So is this signal light/seatbelt light correlation a direct result of this safety item being un-hooked, or is there some other wiring issue? Would an incorrect flasher relay be a likely cause? Anyone else have this going on?

Only a guess here but it sounds like a problem with a ground somewhere between the flasher indicators and the seatbelt light. I don't think the seatbelt system is part of the emergency flasher system. What you describe is more of an electrical "leak" that shows up in the seatbelt light. Again, just a guess to start you off. Experts will sign on soon.

My signal indicators (green arrows) on the instrument cluster are also nearly impossible to see in the daylight hours (not very bright at night either). Maybe this is due to the power being "leaked" to the seat belt light? Still hoping for expert opinions.
