Reflector replacement?

Is there someone on Pelican making a replacement panel for the rear reflector on the impact bumper cars?

Yes. Thom Widebody. I have one, though haven't installed it yet (Sorry Thom). The piece is very nice though. IMO, the replacement panel, if painted the same color as the body, looks really well with R-type tail lights.

Thanks David.
Anyone else running like Bryan's done? Cool looking mod imo.

I am curious about this too, and would love to see some pics of what other folks have done.

Cheers

I agree with Jay: that looks very nice, and works well with the OEM tail lights.

Any more information on it? Do the square holes - if that's what I see as square holes - add additional ventilation to the engine compartment?

Thanks.

This is a mod Tyson suggested for the reasons you suggest David.

I think I might try it as well.

Thanks, saw that thread. The pic came from page 9 or so. A lot of pictures of the plate installed on that thread. I'm looking for the delete option

Anyone else done something similar as what is shown above? Pictures?

I have been considering doing something to that effect. I have installed R lights and fiberglass bumper on my 86 and the reflector doesn't look quite right. I would be interested in seeing some others as well.

Tyson and others suggested this mod for the R tail lights on another thread. I am looking for the same reasons jester. Tom's fill plate wasn't available when I built my car. To lazy to do it myself.

The "drilled" look for an impact bumper car is growing on me.

Yeah, this one gets my vote as well. I saw this on your thread rdane, and remembered seeing a pic of the car once before. I too would like to do it like his, with the rectangular cutouts, and then use a black mesh overlay, and possibly use the same on my deck grille, as was suggested to you on your car. I had hoped he would respond to your thread, or maybe now to this one, and give us a pic or two of the same car with te mesh. That is such a beautiful car.

I haven't decided yet what I want to do. I never seem to leave it alone.

shahram, I thought about doing that. Do you have some kind of grill or mesh in the holes? It is hard to tell from the pic.

Jerry, yes there is a aluminum mesh behind the holes. Was not a big deal to install it.

Can anyone photo shop the R tail lights and the round holes onto the same car for me?
