Question Did porsche change valve guides in 77 ?

I read somewhere recently that porsche changed
to a better quality valve guide in 1977 2.7 model yr.

Is this true?

Yes they did and they are still crappy,...

There are FAR better aftermarket solutions.

what do you suggest for replacements? Need to to a top end this winter and I know I have leaking guides.
