Mobil1 Synthetic Filter part #?

There's been some talk on the forum about using a Mobil1 Synthetic filter on our cars. I did a search and read the threads, but there is no specific mention of which part #...the Mobil1 website doesn't have an application guide.

Thanks in advance,

D. Ocean

For the 993, there is no cross for a mobil 1 oil filter- the must not make one. For your 2.4, the correct filter should be a M1-404.

Sorry, my "993" is a body only mod. The guts are still '79 911SC/3.0.

Is there an on-line x-reference chart? I couldn't find one, even at the Mobil1 site.

For your SC it's the same filter as your 2.4.

You have to say choose the correct product for me, then once it tells you the correct oil, there is a link to "recommended" filter.
