I still have 6 quarts of Castrol GTX SL formula
Should I get another 4 quarts of the Castrol GTX SM formula and mix it or go ahead and thow the SL formula away?

I'll take the oil if you don't use it, the SL stuff is what protects our engines without supplements. You could just get some SM and then mix in some GM EOS or STP oil supplement. If you do end up wanting to junk the quarts let me know and I will pay shipping.

I have four quarts of Castrol GTX 20W/50 rated SG (about six or seven years old). I was tempted to use it so I wrote to Castrol and asked them about it. They responded that they wouldn't use anything after five years or so. Your SL shoudn't be that old.
Early Porsche, If you want 'em you can have 'em.
