They are heavier than they look. All the bolts are under the rubber trim.

The Bentley manual has a good diagram....

+1 on the Bentley manual. I would not do any major projects with out it.

Thanks guys. I was told that it was a simple project...matter of a few screws, removing some trim pieces etc. I have the Haynes book (not as good as Bentleys, I know) and it has a decent diagram, just hard to follow the step-by-step...

i took my front off a few weeks ago. not a fun project, mostly because i was working in a tight space and road grime and filth.
I assume its the SC?

- remove the front rubber strip. undo the screw at each end.... the strip is further held onto the bumper with clips. Carefully pry it off. Dont break the clips or you wont be getting it back on without replacing parts.

- i took one front wheel off at a time in order to reach the screws holding on the rubber bumper extensions. i used the factory spare tire jack to do this. the passenger side is NOT fun as the oil cooler parts are in the way of the screws. I had to run to the store mid-way thru to get a smaller wrench and then loosened the screws making tiny turns because of a lack of room to move wrench.

- i didnt go far with the bumper so i didnt do this but you will have to disconnect the parking lights. im not sure how cause i avoided doing this- i was just replacing the smile

- under the front bumper strip that you yanked off are two bolts that hold the bumper onto the car. loosen them and pull the bumper off

-CAUTION -- the side rubber extenstions have a thick metal wire that runs up/down. this can damage your car if your not paying attention.

- the lower valance is left alone
