Bentley Manual
I have a '74 2.7 stock. I can't seem to find any tech manuals for the car. How much info is in the SC Bentley manual that would be useful to me? Also where can I find a good wiring diagram?

I can't speak for the '74 but the Bentley manual is a must have IMHO. It also has wiring diagrams as well.

The Bentley manual will give you most everything you need to know about the SC. Worth every $, IMO. Most of the information can be used for your car as well.

Yeah, I'm sure he knows that, but he's asking how much info it will provide on a '74, not an SC.

Probably 90%. Maybe more.
It has a different engine, but it's very similar. It even has the same fuel injection system. Doesn't have catalytic converter... MOst of the car is almost identical. I think you need one. |

The bentley manual is an excellent source of info for my 77 (the 77 is closer to an SC than a 74 is).
Most of the info in the bentley manual will apply except for the distributor rotation... and a few other things. I also have the useless haynes manual, waynes books, some other parts diagram book. What I can't find there, I can find here by searching or asking...

For what its worth Bentley manuals are available (usually) used through Amazon.com for in the $75-80 range.
