can I sit my engine upside down?

I have built a cradle for my work bench for my engine to sit on, upside down. I'm planning on keeping it in this position for a week or so, while replacing studs & removing the exhaust injection system.

Is there any reason why this would be a bad idea?

thanks,

Chris

Nothing wrong with doing that if it's not resting on anything that will get crushed. Your cradle may address that. Depending on the state of disassembly, you may get oil draining out, but you can get around that.
