elephant front pbb install - spacers?

I noticed some binding when tightening down the front mounts. Is there a specific spacer to be used in order to eliminate the binding or just trial&error.

Thanks, jt

Did you get the low-friction control arm mounts? If not, you probably need them. If so, they are a little tricky to install. Careful reading of the instructions and a little fiddling should eliminate any binding.

You mean the low friction rear mounts? No, I reused the old ones figuring to get by with them. There is only a little binding when the front mount bolts are tight. I would bet adding a pair of spacers in the front would eliminate the binding.

The setup now is probably good to go as is but I want it perfect or at least very close.

The low friction mounts are both front and rear.

I bought them when I did my install...no regrets and they eliminated the binding as I tightened things up.

What is the approved way of doing this nowadays? Last threads I saw were a while ago, but involved putting epoxy or similar (loctite bearing mount cmpd., or JB Weld) in there instead of shims...??
