yep, they're a great value if you make sure they are protected from moisture. Do a search on "Clewett moisture" and read thoroughly.

They work as advertised, until they get wet. (bottms of twin plug)
I am going to try to seal the ends with SillyCon seal. boots are bit fat and that makes a tight fit on the distributor, but they work fine.

I have had to replace 3 of them. It is very frustrating when they come loose while driving. Clewett is very nice but still I had to pay for shipping to me and back to him which cost more than the replacement wire.
In summary, I would not buy them again. I will have a set of 12 for sell as soon as I find some replacements.

I'll say the opposite. I bought a set about three years ago and have no issues. I live in the PNW and drive in the rain often. Maybe I'm lucky, but water hasn't affected them.
I replaced the stock setup on my '74 S and the improvement was impressive. Great value but the end can be difficult to connect to the spark plugs.

Mine have worked fine for 2 years. I know they added a seal on the connections. I had Magnecores before that burned holes in the insulation.

Running twelve of them on my 930, every day, and wouldn't trade them for the world! I had Magnecors when I was on standard ignition, and they were good too, but I like Clewett's attention to detail better. I think the moisture problems might have been on an earlier version. YMMV, Id buy them again.

I've had them for two years and no issues as well, and I would by them again.

I've had them for about 7 months now. They seem to fit fine and perform great wet or dry. There was a time that the wires had a problem with moisture wicking into the ends but to my knowledge that issue has been addressed. It rains pretty heavy in Florida and so far no issues.

I just bought a set for my race car.
Having heard the issues I called Mr. Clewett and spoke with him personally. He said that the issue was acknowledged and corrected a couple years ago and customers have been happy with them. I have no complaints, and the fit was a breeze compared to the old Berus that I usually wrestle with.
