Leak Down Resuts on a SC?

I own a 1982 911SC that burns zero oil and runs great. My question is that I Had a leak down test and the results where as follows:
Cylinder 1-5 4% to 6%
Cylinder 6 30%

Long term concerns?
The car does run fine and it doesnt burn any oil.
Not used on the track or abused.
Plan on keeping it for the long term, just was wondering if anyone would offer an opinion?
Thanks[img]

Did the mechanic say where he heard the air leaking from? That will give you an indication of what the problem might be.

What mileage?
Like Kurt says, it's possible to detect if it leaks through the intake, or exhaust valves. (Or rings)
With 30%, a good mechanic would follow through and find out.

Have you adjusted your valves lately? This could be a result of a valve imporpery adjusted, I would check the adjustment on those 2 valves.

A leakdown test like that should be repeated after the car has been driven some more. The leakdown test should be done on a warm engine anyway.

I also agree that a good mechanic would have determined where the leak is coming from. That is one of the nice features of a leakdown test.

Mileage?

Thanks for the feedback. I will have my wrench retest after a valve adjustment. Like i said, the car pulls great and strong. no smoke or oil consumption.
He didn't seem to concerned and thought withan adjustment the leakdown may improve in 6.
Compression was good across the board.
Again, thanks
