trailing arm help
Was wondering if trailing arms off a 82 911 Will fit on a 1970 911T?

Very nicely, yes,..:)
You will need to deal with the rear swaybar droplinks and stub axles to match CV joint patterns. |
I'm in the process of putting some late Carerra aluminum arms on my 73, so your situation should be fine as well. I already had after market sways that connect to the spring plate rather then the ball on the steel arm, so I can not answer that question for you. I'm also doing coil-over shocks and 935 spring plates, so I'm going well beyond stock. If you have any specific questions post them here.

There are further issues related to the shock mounts on the trailing arm. Details are in the link below.
I now run my shocks with rubber dust covers as the metal ones rubbed on the shock body, creating some very twitchy high speed handling. http://members.rennlist.org/911pcars/AlloyContrlArms.htm |
