I need a cylinder stud washer for a 911SC motor ASAP. I am missing one and am going to lose a whole day of rebuild without it. If anyone in the SF bay area has one I could buy I will drive to you to pick it up first thing tomorrow morning.
Please respond to this post. Thanks! |

Try Parts Heaven in Hayward. They should be able to help you out.

I looked, and I don't have one. Maybe Rick who also lives in Livermore has one (he has 2 Carreras and does work on them). Vash may have one.

PCA7GGR,
Because of the bevel those look like case through bolt washers. caevon, I’ve got a brand new head stud washer left over from my rebuild, I’m in San Jose, PM me if you want it, it’s free. ![]()

While on the topic of washers, what are these used for? A bit smaller in diameter with an outside bevel.

I could be mistaken… but I believe those are later model (2.7+) case through bolt washers, as displacement got larger the cylinders got bigger in diameter so the washers needed the outside bevel to clear the cylinders.
They should still have the bevel on the inside circumference for the sealing o-ring.
