what is the additional prong on the starter for?

On the stock starter, there is another un-used prong, below the one the yellow wire plugged into. Anyone know what is it for?

Apparently on your car it isn't used for anything.

The schematic shows a terminal 75a that looks like a separate contact on the starter solenoid to the battery. I can think of lots of things that it COULD be used for, start enrichment etc. but not on my 88

Sure? I'll add another 12+v there to make sure it starts easier

Porsche Crest

On the SCs it was used for the cold-start solenoid ... not needed on 3.2 Carreras!
