Thats a pretty good price... I think if the motor made it that far it shouldnt have the problems that kill these motors early in there life . I think the only major problems these cars have are there motors.... the rest of the car is very reliable/durable.

If you can, check the owners records to see if the motor was ever changed. Also check for any fender benders.

Good luck

$21,000.00 Not bad, and that should leave you with plenty of money to bring it back to mint condition.

funny thing about the car is its in mint shape. just the porsche emblem is missing and 2 rims have curb marks. my friend is a broker and bought the car at the porsche finance sale. when they sell there lease returns or trade ins from porsche. the cars is in mint shape with fresh oil new tires and brakes at all corners. it looks like its been cared for its life. there are no service records. the engine looks brand new but then agains its mostly plastic when u open the hood. if the engine went how much would it be and would it be complete or top end. the car drives like a brand new car.

When the engines go in these cars they are just replaced. I don' think the factory sells parts for rebuilding them and they are so cheap (like $8K) that it wouldn't make sense to rebuild them.
