Well, they don't get any nicer than that. He has upgraded the headlamps, but somehow I bet he has the originals as well in a box somewhere.
If any of you out there have the desire for a perfectly new 1969 911, here it is!

Funny you should mention that. I just sent the owner a few questions. Any body have an idea where this should price. It really looks like a nice job , but a ppi would certainly in order !!
ANY THOUGHTS ON THE $ ? Thanks Bob

Tom, good luck bidding. She sure is purdy....although I'm not a big fan of the lettering. Another question....I am curious as to what is original of the interior.

Man, that car is EXACTLY what I want. I'll be looking for it too (though I am SURE I don't have the money he wants). The car is literally somewhere in walking distance from my home if it is in Sierra Madre.
Its a tiny town and right up the street from East Pasadena. Oh man, why didn't I get some of the $72 million Lotto money from Saturday's drawing?!

That's pretty much my car without the sunroof.
My interior isn't quite as fresh as that though... He obviously has other Porsches. Note the plate FAST356. Any chance he's a Pelican?

Dan, I wouldn't be so sure that you can't have this car, just remember that the cheap ones are the expensive ones and vice-versa.
![]() This car will be a fairly stable investment, (as much as that can be said for cars), as long as the price doesn't get too nutty.

Looks beyond excellent to me. It should be an interesting auction to watch, but I agree that the reserve won't be met.
What's the wire for under the gas door?

grounding wire put there at the factory- they wanted to make sure the oil tank- rubber mounted- is grounded to the chassis.

I'm not a big fan of tangerine, but it looks good on that car. I was happy to see the automatic was a mis-print. If you look on the letter of authenticity it does state a 5 speed too. I wonder what the reserve is that he's looking for? Might be cheaper to buy this one than to restore mine. Ok, it would probably difinitley be cheaper, but I've owned my '71 for over 12 years now and it would be hard to give it up. It did do one thing though, I've pretty much made up my mind to stick with original on the the restoration.
