Apologies to all non "plotters".

The SCWDP badge is here... well sort of... they shipped to my business address and I am not there today. I had someone there take it out and snap some pics, but they are not very good. I will get some better pics tomorrow to post. Until then, here is what I have so far. Hope you like...:D

P.S. Something looks funny on the P in Porsche, but not sure if it is a flake of dirt, paint, or a mess-up. Will know more tomorrow.

It looks like "SC WOP". Maybe you could change the font to match the Porsche script, with a lower and wider "D" that doesn't look so much like an "O". Just a thought.

..or just add 'A$$'. :D

I am not sure what to do about the D. The font is a Porsche knock-off font and that D IS what it is. Let me take some better pics tomorrow when I have it in my hands and see if it looks any better. If not, I will talk to the badgemaker and see if we can modify the D a little to make it look more like a D.

Thanks Jerry. Been a bit of a pain, but not as bad as the shirts et al. Still trying to get the kinks worked out on that one as well as help my wife manage her business, as well as keeping my boss out of jail!

If we can get at least 49 orders for these, we can probably price them at $30-35 plus shipping (guessing a $1-1.50 for that). I will let you know more tomorrow as well as posting more pics to see if the D looks any better with a different view!

It would be nice to have the notch out of the D like on the text on the outer ring

Quick update guys:

I got to work this morning and looked the badge over. Overall, it looks nice, but there are a couple of quality issues I am discussing with the maker. They are small things, but nonetheless things I would not be happy about sending to people for purchase. I do not think it should be a big deal at all, but I want to make sure of what I(we) are getting as the final product - it may be I am being a bit nitpicky, but I would rather be that way than to have one of you unhappy with your badge once received.

One question for you all, at least those that have or had badges: the mount for these is basically a nut tacked to the back of the metal badge. A nylon or plastic stud then attaches to that and through the grille. It looks sturdy enough, but wondered if this is the norm from companies like this?

I hope to get things squared away with these guys in the next day or two and then I will tell you all how to order.
