Porsche Crest Steering column

I have a 1985 911 targa, the steering column moves up and down and also will move left and right by approx 1/8 inch play. It takes some pressure to move it, but it will move. Also, driving over a series of bumps will cause the column to shutter. What should I be looking for to fix? The center steering wheel nut is tight.

JUST RED

1975 914 1.8 Guard Red
1985 911 3.2 Guard Red

Yeah, that was easy for you, now I wish they would come up with a kit to repair this problem on a 1973 and earlier 911 steering shaft.

By the way, I have a brand new bushing as described in the article that normally sells for $12.00 + shipping that I'll sell to you for $10.00 plus shipping.

Unfortunately, it won't work on my 1973 911
