70T running issue help needed

Car has weber/marelli set-up..all of the sudden after running great all summer started to run rough particularly at 2-3k RPM..sputtering a bit, missing etc. Seems to accelerate OK but somethings 'amiss'. Mechanic has checked all the EZ stuff.points, plugs, jets etc but can't seem to solve the problem. Anyone else on the board have this problem or any thoughts on what else to look at?

Things that I would check are fuel pump, fuel filter, and the possibility of a clogged gas tank. Also, coil, condenser (does your car have one?) and spark plug wires.
