Did my 1st valve adjust tonight
That was NOT hard!
I did the backside method...all but 1 were loose (#6 intake was within spec). Would love to have buttoned 'er back up but am waiting for new turbo lower valve covers to show up on my doorstep....GRRR! Big thanks to the tech article found here on PP. It feels good to keep tackling DIY stuff. Anyone want any nice original 71t lower valve covers?

dan be sure you go back and double check every single one. i can guarantee that if you haven't done this yet you will be re-adjusting at least one or two.

yep, duly noted.
I get OCD attacks when working on cars/bikes/guitars/amps/anything and tend to check my work well past the point of being reasonable. I definitely found that torquing down the 13mm nuts sometimes tightened the adjustment screw a bit and then made the gap too small...so I went around afterwards and made sure everything was kosher. Next up: figuring out the cluster F the po made of all the breather hoses.
