Easy Bilstein strut insert removal method

I've been lamenting how to get my Bilstein inserts out of my front struts for some time now. They had been sitting on my work bench as I worked away at disassembling the rest of the car's suspension. I had tried various methods already, but they didn't want to budge. Then, I looked over to my scrap metal pile and saw an 8" piece of 2" SCH 40 pipe (you can get it at Home Depot cut to any length you like). I slipped it over the insert, put the big washer on, then the nut and tightened the nut down. After a couple turns of the nut, the strut insert popped right out!
