speed vs. rpm

Hi I have a 915/02 5 speed mated to a '77 3lt. stock turbo. at 3000 rpm, I am doing 60 mph. Is this normal

that's where my '73 is at 60mph. I'm running 205/55x16

what is your wheel / tire combo?

my 3.0L turbo, with the factory 4 speed is around 24-2600, but 3rd and 4th are both overdrives in that box. (245/45-16)

a taller tire would bring the revs down a bit, if that's what your looking for.
