Hi every one? I just discovered fluid inside of the Front Shift Coupler Boot! Is this normal?

Sounds like a leaking shaft seal. It can be purchased from Pelican and installed from inside the car though it's a pain. Do a search and you'll find many people have done this. Good luck.

Pretty good chance that your shift rod seal is leaking. It is a spring lip seal that keeps the oil in the transmission while allowing the shift rod to move.
It can be replaced with the transmission in the car, I think there is a thread in here some where or perhaps even a tech article on it.....short description is that you hook out the old seal with a screwdriver/wire that has a small hook on the end (I bought a set of seal hooks that had a bunch of shapes with handles). You jam the hook into the rubber portion of the seal, and tug it out. Then put in a new one...you just slide it over the rod and use small punch to delicately tap it in. I have even heard of people putting a screw into the old seal and pulling on it to get the seal out, but that seem riskier. YOu then get to reset your shifter alignment and are good to go... Dennis

If it smells, it's gearbox lube. Keep an eye on it. The shift shaft seal is leaking.

Thanks guy's, i just recently did a transmission fluid change about a month ago and used swp-201 fluid. The fluid in the boot seems to be the older fluid. i cleaned everything out and ordered the seal for replacement. i also found the tech forum page on how to do this.
