While you're in there, b4 & after Hey everybody, went to change a chain tensioner and ended up with this. Thank god my wife understands! Sillicone gaskets, completely rebuilt webers, powdercoated manifolds, cleaned inside walls, plugs, rotor, points, filter, oil,and new motor mounts. As soon as it started up, my clutch cable snapped!!! Don't ask why but, I had a brand new replacement in the basement...took me less than an hour to install! Very well done!!! Good thing you were "just doing the tensioners". Couldn't imagine if you had to go in and check the rings!!! |

Wow! How long were you "in there"? |

New engine shroud? It looks like it would have taken about the same time and effort to replace the crankshaft. Good work. |

Thanks guys! I took my time. One day to take apart, one day to reassemble. Parts were either refinished b4 disassembly or taken from my other motor. Shroud was refinished as well. Nikita |
