The link to the site doesn't tell the height of the maximum lift unless I just didn't see.

Remember what Fire Marshal Bill says! With any lift safety is a must so be sure to use the lifting arms correctly or your car might tip.

You missed it: Max Lift Height -> 1200mm = 3.937 ft

Heres mine, an old 3/4 lift works great if you have standard ceilings.

Hey John... the lift is AUD$2.5k... you'll need an 8cfm compressor too.

I REALLY wanted a 2 post hoist instead, but my ceiling is only 2.6m high and the hoist needs at least 2.8m

Not sure if the wife would allow me to cut out the plaster to accommodate the hoist

Yep, that's exactly my problem as well. The good thing about the P-cars is there's no centre driveline to worry about, so a scissor type lift under the main part of the car still lets you do nearly everything a 2-post lift will.... except for restoring floor panels etc.. Plus I like the idea of it being moveable, sort of.

I've got air in the garage and hopefully a reasonable tax return this year

What about the harbor frieght lift. It is only around a grand. Several here have them with no complaints.

I have a Bend Pak.

11.5 ceilings for me, no problem stacking a 914 and 911.

That is a good deal. 61" high for $1000.

I got this Ammco 12k lb. lift/rack used for $500. Just wish I had taller than 10' ceilings. I wired the pump through a contactor and installed a photoeye on the ceiling, wired in the raise circuit to keep ceiling contact from happening. Any height is better than working on the floor.

MIke (ferg),

Did you get that Bendpak from a dealer here in CO? I am real close to buying one myself to put the mustang on so I can park under it.
