Don't you have Insurance to pay for glass breakage under "Compehensive"?

In BC, Insurance pays for damage, the driver pays $200.- flat fee for the windshield.
Same thing when hitting a deer: "Comprehensive" pays for the damage like $2300.- for the hood; Driver pays $300.-
And how is it possible for you to drive in Montreal this time of year when I have to wait another month for Winter to end? :confused:

That was last year...I plan to push out the 911 in about 2 weeks...There still is a lot of snow and the road are so dirty. I don't know about this comprehensive stuff...But it cost me 200 $...so it's not so bad...But I will check this with my insurance broker...Thanks Gunter

Sorry to hear Zef, I'm glad you're OK though!

A few years back, in Calgary, there were a group of kids that used to throw rocks from over passes; they could do alot of damage to cars and the cops had a tough time catching them.

Some real horror stories about rocks and cars, so that fact that you and your car are OK is great news. Thanks for posting.

If the rock fell off the ceiling of a tunnel, as opposed to being flicked up by another vehicles tires, then the DOT should be liable, right?

I'd call them and tell them, though without the offending piece of concrete, it may be hard to prove.
