Does any one know the differnce between the two parts,

I have a pair of 930 front a arms part numbers 930 341 902 01 & 930 341 901 01 and was wondering if they will fit my 911

thanks

They will fit but by doing so you willl be changing the track width on the front to the track width of a 930 which would probably result in tire fitment and rub problems on the narrow fenders of a SC.

I don't have the track width numbers with me at the moment to compare.

Actually they are the same width. The only difference is the turbo arms have spacers on the front mounts to angle the arms down slightly to create some anti-dive geometry. You can still use them on a 911.

Chuck.. So less pitching and camber changing on the front under braking, sounds like a bit of an advantage on a track car, are there any negatives?

It makes the suspension stiffer for a given size torsion bar. Not necessarily a disadvantage.

It alters the axis of rotation of the front bushing, but not the rear - thus making them non-concentric, causing a binding condition. Not a problem for squishy OEM rubber bushings, but it is a problem for any hard bushing. You can resolve this problem with aftermarket mounts.

I agree w/ Chuck 100%, the track width increase on 930s is all in the wheels and wheel spacers preMY81 and in the wheels and hubs post MY81

Just curious here. The 930 also uses M10x45bolts instead of the M10x35 on a SC/Carrera, there is a spacer above the aluminum transverse support(unrelated to the longer bolts)

and the struts behind the trasverse support are different

Chuck, Can you tell us why?
